The North Star is the brightest star, the one that gives direction in the darkest night. Its presence is always constant and reassuring, something you could count on. It was what Maggie and Glenn was looking for that one special night.
The sky was crystal clear, the weather was a bit windy. They both sat down on their star gazing date. It wasn’t long until they found the Big Dipper. Their eyes were following its pointing to Polaris; the North Star. A wave of joy came over them. That was when Glenn get down on one knee, asking her to marry him. Glenn showed her the ring, made with five prongs, which is called ‘North Star’. Maggie said yes.
Ever since Glenn met Maggie, he knew he’ll marry her. Maggie’s name has ‘north’ in it, and for Glenn, Maggie is his North Star. She provided him with directions, and he easily saw their future together.
From Ottawa to Bali. Maggie and Glenn met for the first time in Canada. Five years being together, they decided to tied the knot in Bali. Held at the beautiful Villa Bracha in Uluwatu, a small yet intimate ceremony marked the beginning of their journey. And they never worry about getting lost. They have The North Star with them.
“She was his North Star, the fixed point round in which his world turned. For as long as his heart beat, or hers, he believed they would always share a destiny.” – David Gemmell.
